If you're experiencing performance problems, it's most likely because this uses a defunct physics library, which gets mangled into JavaScript, instead of using any present-day technologies. Playing hundreds of sounds may have something to do with it, too. It sounded like a good idea on the 7th of August. Performance seems pretty similar between Chrome and Firefox. I think it will be okay on most computers, and flagship mobile devices.
